- Qualification: Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Polymer Materials and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline with 2 years or more work experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in any of the following industries: materials, consumer electronics, semiconductor packing, automotive, aerospace.
- Alternative: PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Polymer Materials and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline with a specialized focus on solid mechanics and FEA/material constitutive modeling.
- Strong knowledge of solid mechanics and constitutive modeling.
- Experience in implicit and explicit Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Proficient in at least one mainstream FEA simulation software (such as ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, COMSOL, etc.).
- Preferred experience in polymer testing and modeling, experience with calibration, verification, and validation of models through physical testing.
- Proficiency in Python, scripting for FEA pre-/post-processing and Abaqus User Subroutines is a plus.
- Additional advantages: hands-on experience with various testing methods, including Digital Image Correlation, Universal Testing Machines, and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis.
- Comprehensive qualities: Strong ability in problem analysis and solving, logical thinking and innovation awareness; good communication and coordination skills and team spirit, able to efficiently promote cross-departmental collaborative projects; rigorous and meticulous in work, strong sense of responsibility, and strong self-drive and learning ability.
